Why start a podcast in Milwaukee and name if Fashion Pulse?

In this blog post, I am going to discuss with you why I started the podcast I’m excited to share the creative design process behind the logo for my podcast, highlighting the thoughtful choices behind each color and element. The sleek combination of black, gold, and white was intentionally selected to evoke sophistication, elegance, and a sense of timeless style, which mirrors the podcast’s mission. But the design goes beyond just visual appeal; it represents the essence of what I hope to achieve with this platform. First, I want to explain to you why I started this podcast.

I I saw a gap in Milwaukee’s creative scene—there was no dedicated space where fashion, styling, and the local style culture could take center stage. While the city has incredible talent, events, and energy, they weren’t getting the spotlight they deserve. This podcast was born to fill that void. It’s a platform to highlight local fashion events, celebrate the designers, stylists, and professionals behind the scenes, and elevate Milwaukee’s style narrative. But it’s more than local—it’s global too. I wanted to bring conversations about international fashion trends, styling strategies, and personal branding tips right here to our community, making style feel both aspirational and accessible.

Fashion Pulse captures the heartbeat of fashion in Milwaukee and beyond. The Fashion Pulse logo features a gradient black-to-gray background representing versatility and elegance, accented with white and gold to evoke clarity, confidence, and luxury. The goal when I decided to launch the podcast was for Fashion Pulse to be the heartbeat of the fashion scene in Milwaukee.  This was the inspiration for the logo that was created and the name of the podcast. At the center of the logo between the words Fashion and Pulse is a heartbeat symbol—your go-to podcast for everything style, culture, and creativity in the city. The heartbeat symbol at its center reflects our mission: to keep a finger on the pulse of fashion, because style here isn’t just seen—it’s felt.

The podcast isn’t just about sharing the latest styling tips and trends—it’s also about creating a hub that showcases and celebrates the local fashion scene. Through interviews, discussions, and curated content, we aim to spotlight Milwaukee’s designers, stylists, and industry professionals, while also providing listeners with actionable advice on personal branding and style. Ultimately, this podcast is designed to inspire, empower, and connect creative minds within the fashion community, all while offering insights to elevate one’s personal style.

The name reflects both the rhythm of fashion and our mission. “Fashion” stands for more than style—it represents self-expression, innovation, and cultural storytelling. “Pulse” symbolizes movement, energy, and staying current.
